Extender Drug Eluting PTCA Balloon Catheter Paclitaxel
The Extender Drug Eluting PTCA Balloon Catheter is designed for use in percutaneous transluminal coronary angioplasty (PTCA) procedures. Coated with paclitaxel, an anti-proliferative drug, it helps prevent restenosis by inhibiting smooth muscle cell proliferation at the treatment site. The catheter offers a range of diameters (1.5 mm to 12.0 mm) and lengths (20 mm to 220 mm) to accommodate various vessel sizes and lesion lengths. It is compatible with standard guidewires and features platinum-iridium markers for enhanced visibility during procedures. This catheter is indicated for treating coronary artery disease, including de novo lesions, in-stent restenosis, and small vessel disease. By delivering paclitaxel directly to the lesion, it reduces the risk of re-narrowing, improving long-term patient outcomes.
